Kony 2012
Joseph Kony is a Uganda guerilla group leader head of the Lord's Resistance Army (LRA). The LRA believe's Kony's objectives and goals are sent to him through direct messages from the Lord, and they abduct children to carry out extreme acts of violence, sexual slavery and mutilation to not only strangers, but their family.
An opportunity is being presented to us to make a change we wish to see in the world, as Ghandi once stated. We have a chance to stop history from repeating itself. Just like the holocaust, the suffering and inhumane actions were known globally, however never acted upon until hundreds of thousands of lives were lost and forever destroyed.
Take a look, and listen with more than your ears. Not only do we have an opportunity, we have an obligation to defend innocence and childhood not only in Uganda, but around the world.
